Jonathan Isaacs has established himself as one of the most influential brokers in New York City today, having recently been involved in approximately $400 million of real estate transactions. In 2006, Jonathan was the top grossing “rookie” broker in all of Manhattan, totaling more than $47 million in gross sales. In 2007, Jonathan set a record for the most expensive downtown condominium ever put into contract and in 2011 he set the record for the most expensive Flatiron condo ever sold. Additionally, Jonathan is actively involved in the capital markets and investment sales, with primary contacts and quiet information pertaining to some of New York’s most coveted properties. He has represented some of Manhattan’s most notorious real estate families, developers and private equity firms, while maintaining the utmost of discretion and confidentiality.
An accomplished athlete, Jonathan participated in both football and lacrosse while at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. He was captain of his lacrosse team, which was one of the top ranked teams nationally in Division III during his tenure. Outside of Aligned, Jonathan is a founding member of CORE4, a charitable organization aiming to help those in need in New York City.
Steven Ganz has been representing buyers, sellers and developers of luxury residential real estate in New York City since 1998. Having spent eight years as part of the top downtown brokerage team at Douglas Elliman, Steven left in 2005 to become a founding member of CORE Group Marketing. In 2009, Steven co-founded Aligned Real Estate with his partner, Jonathan Isaacs. Steven maintains long-term relationships with his clients, who often buy and sell multiple properties through him. With more than $800,000,000 in gross sales, Steven also has extensive experience in branding and marketing new development properties, having had an instrumental role in some of New York City’s most successful projects. Additionally, in 2006, Mr. Ganz brokered record setting sales of the most expensive townhouse ever sold below 34th Street and the most expensive townhouse ever sold east of Gramercy Park.
Steven holds a Chemistry AB from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and won the UNC-Chapel Hill book award for third level organic chemistry in 1990. A former professional jazz saxophonist, Steven also holds a BFA in Jazz Performance from New School Jazz and Contemporary Music program. Steven placed high in the 1996 Thelonius Monk Institute saxophone competition, was the New School’s youngest professor in the early 1990’s, and played lead tenor in Charli Persip’s Supersound band from 1992 to 1999. He released a quartet recording entitled “First Steps” with his brother, Keith, in 1999, to very positive reviews and extensive radio airplay. In addition to playing jazz, Steven loves swimming, boxing, and reading. Steven, his wife, and two young sons, live near Lincoln Center and enjoy traveling internationally whenever they can.
