Jonathan Isaacs
Jonathan Isaacs has established himself as one of the most influential brokers in New York today, having recently been involved in approximately $200 million worth of real estate transactions, including setting a 2007 record for the most expensive downtown condominium ever put into contract. Additionally, Jon is actively involved in investment sales, acquisitions, debt/equity placement and structured workouts, with primary contacts and quiet information pertaining to some of New York’s most coveted properties. An accomplished athlete, Jon participated in both football and lacrosse while at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. He was captain of his lacrosse team, which was one of the top ranked teams nationally during his tenure. Outside of Aligned, Jon is a founding member of CORE 4, a charitable organization aiming to give back to the New York City community.
Steven Ganz
Steven has been representing buyers, sellers and developers of New York City residential real estate since 1998. Having spent eight years as part of the top downtown brokerage team at Douglas Elliman, Steven left in 2005 to become a founding member at CORE. In 2009, Steven founded Aligned Real Estate with his partner, Jonathan Isaacs. Steven has extensive experience in branding and marketing new development properties, and his specialty is advising on the marketing and sales of luxury properties from inception through completion.
Steven holds a Chemistry AB from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and won the UNC-CH book award for third level organic chemistry in 1990. A former professional jazz saxophonist, Steven also holds a BFA in Jazz Performance from New School Jazz and Contemporary Music program. Steven placed high in the 1996 Thelonius Monk Institute saxophone competition, was the New School’s youngest professor in the early 1990’s, and played lead tenor in Charli Persip’s Supersound band from 1992 to 1999. Steven, his wife, and two young sons, live near Lincoln Center and enjoy traveling internationally whenever they can.
